PHÒNG VĂN HÓA VÀ NGHỆ THUẬT BIỂU DIỄN THÀNH CÔNG CHƯƠNG TRÌNH NGHỆ THUẬT LỄ HỘI BÀ THU BỒN – DI SẢN

On the evening of March 29 (February 11 in the lunar calendar), at the main stage of the festival, in a solemn, culturally rich, and highly artistic atmosphere, a special performance titled “Sacred Flow of Thu Bồn – Legends and Aspirations” was successfully staged by the Culture and Arts Department under the Management Board of Mỹ Sơn World Cultural Heritage. The program contributed to highlighting the value of the Bà Thu Bồn Festival – a national intangible cultural heritage.

The program was a refined blend of contemporary performing arts and traditional cultural elements, vividly recreating the history, legends, and spiritual life associated with the Thu Bồn River – the cultural cradle of the Quảng region. Through dance, music, stage storytelling, and lighting performance, the audience was taken on a journey from sacred origins and the legend of Bà Thu Bồn to the aspirations for sustainable development of the region today.

The performance was structured into three chapters:
Chapter 1: “Lullaby of the Ancestral Source”
Chapter 2: “The River of Cultural Convergence”
Chapter 3: “Thu Bồn – Da Nang – Aspiration for a Greater Future”

The program featured many performances deeply rooted in local cultural identity, with the participation of numerous artists, performers, and youth union members from Thu Bồn commune. The harmonious coordination of content, sound, lighting, and stage design created a grand and emotionally resonant artistic space, leaving a strong impression on the audience.

Notably, the integration of heritage elements into the program not only honored the value of the Bà Thu Bồn Festival but also raised community awareness in preserving and promoting intangible cultural heritage. It also served as an opportunity to promote the cultural identity and people of Quảng to the wider public.

The success of the program demonstrates the sense of responsibility, creativity, and dedication of the Culture and Arts Department, as well as the close collaboration of relevant units. It further affirms the important role of performing arts in preserving and spreading traditional cultural values in contemporary life.

“Sacred Flow of Thu Bồn – Legends and Aspirations” is not only an artistic performance but also a profound tribute to ancestors, while conveying the faith and aspirations of today’s generation on the path of development and integration.
